My name is Su T Fitterman and this is my story: I believe in simple, whole foods prepared from scratch. I grow a lot of fruits and vegetables, make my own butter and am partial to ginger tea with lemon and honey. I write about food and family: The Boy, The Girl and Alpha Dog (aka TWITS or Those Whom I Tirelessly Serve). I am, in no particular order: wife, mother, friend, writer, editor, sister, daughter, knitter, baker, cook, gardener, creative director, collaborator and catalyst. I am interested in and voraciously research everything; my friends call me Soogle. I care about family, food, green living, creativity, type, knitting and architecture, pretty much in that order. Oh, and chocolate. I believe that each of us has a responsibility to leave the world a more beautiful place. I do a lot of volunteer work. I am at my truest self in the vegetable garden and kitchen. Unique skills include the ability to get to any See’s Candies from Burlington, WA, to Los Angeles, CA, without GPS, and knowing when to use “which” and when to use “that” in a sentence. I live in Vancouver, BC, with my family. I wear a lot of fleece and always, Blundstone boots. You can reach me at sufitt [at] gmail.com.
